Many people choose to color their own fiber to achieve the color they think best fit for their operating environment. This is industrial grade color dye, it is not the same as commercialized dye that you buy at local stores. It is formulated to achieve maximum results for dying natural fiber thus providing you with more options and control in achieving the colors you want. All you need to do is add tap water!
Each vial contains 3 drams of powered color dye which is sufficient to achieve maximum starkness from 1 bundle of fiber that we sell. You can get multiple colors shades from this base color by manipulating the amount of color dye and water used per dye lot. Once the fiber is colored it is not visible under infrared imagery.
