Looks real, literally like a moss covered leaf with algae growing on it. It will stand up to some outdoor use, more decorative than not. Textured, dull, matted, bumpy surface with algae like growth.
Intended for user to attach to their own ghillie hood. You can stitch it, glue it, cable tie it or however else you want to attach them into your already existing ghillie suit.
Leaf is constructed from a synthetic base layer and the texture is only on one side of the leaf. The non textured side is painted to match the 3D side.
